
Outdoor Activity Programme 2008/9
Activity sessions are held all year round, weather permitting.
Bookings can be made for any day of the week and every other weekend. All sessions must be booked in advance. The minimum age for watersports is 10 years and 8 years for all other activities. Adult courses are also great fun and a great challenge.

ArcheryArchery - a fascinating pastime with something to offer everyone. Beecraigs has a fantastic archery facility that can accommodate 12 people shooting at any one time and has an extensive range of equipment that will match your ability. Archery, 2-hour Session 14th. AugustMorning 10:00-12noon or afternoon 13:30-13:30, cost £16.15 adult and £10.80 juvenile. |

Archery, Four Session Course 23rd. August, 6th. September, 20th. September & 4th. OctoberAimed at adults and juveniles aged 8years+, this course comprises a two-hour session once a fortnight for four sessions. Beginners and improvers welcome. 10:00-12noon each day, cost £60.60 adult and £39.20 juvenile. Archery Certificate of Competence Course: Training and AssessmentCourse for teachers, community education staff, youth leaders, sports centre staff and sports coaches with little or no experience of practical archery. The course is considered to be a tranference of skills, the candidate being conversant with group communication and discipline. Successful candidates will be given certificates to teach basic archery instruction in outdoor centres, sports halls and community centres. The certificate gained is recognised throughout the country. |

OrienteeringCome and try some orienteering. Your aim is to get around a set course, finding all the controls en route, using a map and compass. Orienteering caters for all ages and abilities.
