2011 Sessions and Prices

  • After anglers have caught their allocated fish limit they can now fish a catch & release limit at no additional cost.
  • Concessions available every day of the week and to the war disabled, as well as anglers aged 65+ years and those on Job Seekers allowance (proof of concessionary status must be provided).  To register for a concession, proof of concessionary status must be presented in person at the Visitor Centre at the time of booking.  A concession number will be allocated that applies solely to the named individual.  Concession anglers also benefit from being able to fish 3 anglers in a boat for the price and catch limit of 2 anglers.
  • Catch & Release Day and 4Hour tickets available on Beecraigs Fishery.
  • Single Angler boats, 4 hour sessions and free fishing for Junior Anglers may be booked up to 3 days in advance or on the day (when available).
  • Anglers can book a 4 hour permit between 09:00 and 16:00.
  • Maximum of 3 anglers per boat available.
  • No restriction on the number of bookable permits.

** Concessions are not available to angling club bookings.  They are available to the war disabled, persons aged 65+ years and West Lothian Job Seekers in receipt of a Job Seekers Allowance - proof required in person at the Visitor Centre at the time of booking.

How to Pay:

Payment must be made at least 14 days prior to the date of fishing or at the time of booking.  Visa, Mastercard, Solo, Delta and Electron (payable online, in person or over the telephone) accepted.  You may also pay by cheque or postal order (made payable to West Lothian Council).  Cash payments can be made at the Visitor Centre.  Please do NOT post cash.   Strictly no pay on arrivals for advanced bookings.  Refunds are available if cancellations/alterations to bookings are made at least 14 days before the date of fishing.  Refunds are not guaranteed within the 14 day period.  Anglers who have booked but not paid for a boat before the 14 day notice, will be required to make good on payment.

Junior Anglers

  • Junior anglers under the age of 16 may fish free alongside a paying adult (over the age of 21).
  • Junior angler boats may be booked up to 3 days in advance or on the day (if available). 
  • Fish caught by Junior contribute to the paying adult's catch limit.
  • Increased rod limits can be purchased on the day prior to fishing.
  • Buoyancy aids and lifejackets are available for use free of charge.  Eye protection is also recommended.
