Beecraigs Fishery Monthly Report, Prospects and Records
May 2009
May on Beecraigs Loch has been an excellent month for angling and a lot of good quality fish have been caught. Weather-wise the first half of the month was wet and windy, the second half being very bright with a few flat calms for anglers to contend with. Despite the conditions anglers enjoyed some great sport and many baskets have been taken. The fish are feeding on buzzers both during the day and into the evenings. Suitable patterns should include epoxy buzzers, snatcher, hares ear and small dark wets like black pennel and the bibio.Best Fish
