Beecraigs Fishery Monthly Report, Prospects and Records
November 2011
Anglers had great sport on Beecraigs Loch during November and a lot of good quality fish have been caught. The weather played a bit part in the angler catches as it has been very mild for this time of year. The water temperatures stayed around the 8-9 degrees mark and the fish continued to feed in the top layers of the Loch.
Fish are beginning to shoal-up now for the winter and sport was fast and furious for an hour or so as the fish moved around the Loch. Most successful anglers have been those prepared to ring the changes and keep on the move. The hotspots on the Loch have been the Shore Road, behind Dagger Island and along the North Shore.
