Please note that fishing on Beecraigs Loch was temporarily suspended on the 9th. October 2009.  Essential maintenance required on the water tower, situated on the dam wall, necessitated the water level in the loch having to be dropped.  A full condition survey of the tower and the dam face has now been completed.  Remedial works to the dam face has been completed.  Due to the inclement weather it has not been possible to complete the external sealing of the tower and these works will be programmed for the future, as the priority now is to allow the Loch to refill and for the fishing season to begin.

Countryside Section apologises for any inconvenience this has caused its customers.  Bookings are now being taken for the 2010 season.
