Barbeque Rules of Use

  1. Abide by Countryside Section's Management Rules (copy available on request from the Park Centre).
  2. Any offer made as a result of this enquiry will be held for 24 hours.  If your barbecue date is within the next 14 days, immediate payment online or by telephone is required .  All other barbecue bookings must be paid for within 14 days of your barbecue date.  Failure to pay on time could result in re-allocation.
  3. Booking fees are non-returnable. Alternative dates within the current season are not given due to adverse weather conditions.
  4. The barbecue facility is available from 10am. to 11pm., Monday to Sunday inclusive. (For the opening and closing dates of this facility please contact the Park Centre).
  5. Barbecue groups must not leave any litter or rubbish within the Country Park, except in the receptacles specifically provided for use of the barbecue sites. Groups must make prior arrangement to remove any excess refuse. Failure to do so will result in a charge of £20 per hour for additional maintenance services.
  6. Only charcoal should be used on the barbecue units. Groups must bring with them charcoal, firelighters, matches, aluminium foil, tools, etc. as required.
  7. Hot coals must be left within the firebox. Never put hot coals into litter bins or onto the ground.
